Based on, " From Curriculum to Communication, a School Immerses Itself in Tech," this particular school located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina named Mary Scroggs Elementary makes use of technology not only between the staff, teachers and administrators but as well with students and their parents as well with the family. This is a very engaging method practiced by this school because they are engaging their students in technology and showing them the importance of technology now days. Also by making use of technology, parents are becoming informed and aware of what is going on in the classroom throughout the day and week. One of the lines in the article mentions, "By the time many parents come to pick up their children, they already know the specifics of the day. Moms or dads or grandmas or babysitters can start conversations about the pictures their youngsters drew of Martin Luther King Jr," which I believe it is very important for parents to know what is going on throughout the day, so that at the end of the day that they go for thier kids they can talk about it with the teacher. There is no doubt that this is a good method, as a future teacher i would like to practice it with my students as well with their parents. Will more schools start practicing this method? and would it be successful as in this elementary school located in North Carolina.

Statewide Support for K-12 Online Learning Grows
According to the journal, "Statewide Support for K-12 Online Learning Grows" more states and districts are increasing their support to the online learning. Based on the reasearch people made, they are realising the good impact that online learning is making in the students of all levels. This year 15 more states from last year have come together to support the online learnign in schools, that makes it 25 states that are now making use of online learning.I think it is fantastic that online education and distance education continues to push forward because that is how one day everyone will have their education. Hey, we never know what to expect. I now ask myself, What do parents think of online education? Do they like for their children to engage in a learning through online or they believe it is better to have a professor in front of them and be teaching?

In the Neighborhood
The article i found under online journals, titled "In the Neighborhood" by
Marge Scherer is very interesting and after reading it, the message that it is sending it is so true.
As it mentions, "team-based support from everyone in the school is essential so that ELLs gain full access to learning not only language, but also content," if the administrators do not get together and work as a team, there will be no way for the english language learners to progress in this language. Teachers, staff and administrators need to get more involve with the students and know a bit more about them so they can help them obtain more knowledge about the language. Now i ask myself, would we see a diference in english language learners, if teachers, staff would become more aware of the community around them? If the teachers would become involve and show interest in them would aquire the language and without a proble? This is something that really puts me to think because we believe that in the schools they are teaching the students with a good method and everything is perfect, when in reality it is not like that. We need to help those students that need it.

Why Teach with Project Learning?: Providing Students With a Well-Rounded Classroom Experience
Based on,"Why Teach with Project Learning?: Providing Students With a Well-Rounded Classroom Experience," Project learning, also known as project-based learning, is an approach that can be utilized by the teacher in which students get the opportunity to explore real-world problems and challenges, while working in small collaborative groups. This kind of ideas are what students enojy doing the most, instead of just reading off the textbooks and being a boring lesson. With this project learning studetns will be exposed to real world experience while learning are having a good time.
While readign this article it came to mind, Why Teach with Project Learning? would it benefit the students in school, will this be something new that will be utilized by schools in the future?
